Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I visit the dentist?

Dr. Gufford, along with the American Dental Association, recommends that people should get a standard check-up and cleaning at least twice a year, or every 6 months. This is frequent enough that small dental problems can be spotted early and treated quickly. Of course, this is just a general rule, and Dr. Gufford may recommend that you come in more often if you have ongoing dental issues.

What should I do about my chipped/cracked/broken tooth?

Gufford Dental has a variety of restorative treatments that can address this exact problem. Using crowns and bridges, Dr. Gufford and our team can take the most damaged teeth and make them look like new again.
